BIOGRAPHIE

Leonard Vincent Rode is a Swedish visual artist and filmmaker who formulates complex narratives through sculpture, installation, photography, and film. In his photographs and films, he explores a wide spectrum of themes, including family history, staged reality, and masculinity, always with a keen attention to detail and a deep respect for the production process. The process involves the recreation of scenes, events, interpretations, and memories from his own and his family's life, often by incorporating the actual individuals and environments that the work is based on.
