Alisha Hnatjuk

BIOGRAPHIE

Writer / Director Alisha Hnatjuk was selected as one of fifteen entry-level Australian female television screenwriters to be part of Screen Australia's 2017 ROAR screenwriting development program. Her short film, "Welcome to New York", was a finalist in the 2017 MIFF Powershorts Film Festival and screenplay "Manifestations of Violet" was a semifinalist in the 2018 ScreenCraft Short Script Competition. Alisha often draws from her experiences growing up with an unforgivingly blunt and hilarious Malaysian-Chinese mother and Croatian father in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
