Darrin Rose

BIOGRAPHIE

Writer/Director Darrin Rose is an award-winning filmmaker and television writer. His last short film, One Last Last Heist, was an official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Narrative Short. The movie and television rights were sold to Sony. Darrin was recently a writer on the CBS sitcom Happy Together starring Damon Wayans Jr. and played Bill on the hit CBC sitcom Mr. D for eight seasons. He has appeared twice on The Late Late Show on CBS, on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and on Kevin Hart’s LOL Network. He has written on the sitcoms Mr. D and Spun Out (starring Dave Foley); developed shows for Disney, Sony, CBC and CTV; and won a Writer’s Guild of Canada award for Best Script. Second Life is his third short film.
