Born in Switzerland to French and Lebanese parents, Philippe’s passion for film led him to the UK where he studied cinema at both the University of Nottingham and Drama Centre London (Central Saint Martins). His dedication as a student gave him the unique opportunity to intern at both Fox Searchlight and Lionsgate Studios in LA. In 2015, he released his independent debut feature 'Wasp' which went on to screen at festivals world-wide, securing distribution in several territories. Since, Philippe took part in the Berlinale Talents scheme (2016), ventured into producing ('Butterfly Kisses' co-exec producer, Crystal Bear Winner 2017) and attended the FEMIS’ screenwriter’s program (Atelier Scénario, 2020). His latest short Ruby Red (2019) is currently touring festivals, having already earned several awards along the way.
