BIOGRAPHIE

Biographie Française : Alice Sarrauste vient de l'île de la Réunion où elle a vécu toute son enfance. Elle obtient une licence aux beaux-arts d'Angoulême avant d'intégrer l'EMCA. Elle s'intéresse à l'animation traditionnelle et expérimentale, ainsi qu'à l'illustration et à la peinture. Elle essaie d'aborder des thèmes traitant des rapports entretenus avec notre corps au fil des âges, à la métamorphose de ceux-ci et à l'intimité. L'utilisation de la couleur est aussi un aspect important dans ses productions, celles-ci permettent de créer une contradiction entre l'aspect mélancolique des sujets et une représentation parfois très colorés de ceux-ci. Biographie Anglaise : Alice Sarrauste came from Reunion Island where she lived all her childwood. She was graduated of the art school of Angoulême before integrated the animation school of EMCA. She's interested by traditional and experimental animation. She also practiced illustration and painting. She tries to adress themes such as the dealing with the relationship maintained with our bodies over the ages, their metamorphosis and intimacy. The use of color is also an important aspect in his productions, they allow to create a contradiction between the melancholic aspect of the subjects and a sometimes very colorful representation of them.
