BIOGRAPHIE

Nelson Rashuza, also known as Poor Kid, is a South African filmmaker, based in Cape Town. He wrote, produced and directed his first film, Unforeseen, which starred young and talented actor Lithemba Sundu. From an early age, Poor Kid has been very passionate about filmmaking. He is highly creative, and an excellent raconteur. Despite the fact that he comes from a disadvantaged background, his ambition is to become one of the best film directors and storytellers it is possible for him to become. Although his hope is to accomplish this via the camera department, aiming in this way to master the art of archiving visual film techniques, he is also interested in other filmmaking departments.
