BIOGRAPHIE

Anna Fredrikke Bjerke is a writer and director from Oslo, Norway. She holds a Master of Arts in film studies and gender politics from New York University, and an interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts from Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design. At the foundation of her directorial practice is the commitment to telling groundbreaking stories that focus on women and LGBTQ narratives, which balance complexity and humanity with dynamic visuals. A versatile director, Anna works across narrative, commercial, and music. She is currently writing her first narrative feature, and in development with several short form projects.
