BIOGRAPHIE

Born in Kuwait and grew up in London, Maysaa now is currently based between Qatar and Finland. Trained in architecture and design, her films have an emphasis on character props and production design. She is currently writing her first feature film continuing to present topics of middle-aged Arab women who sit on the peripheries of their community. Bint Werdan/J'ai le Cafard is her first short film and is a grant recipient from AFAC and Doha Film Institute.
