Sylvia Martín

BIOGRAPHIE

Sylvia Martín Sánchez (Spain, 1986). An anthropologist, specialising in documentary film and photography, Sylvia trained in documentary film at the Cuban International School of Film and TV and in Photojournalism at EFTIC International Photography and Film Centre in Madrid, having previously graduated in Social and Cultural Anthroplogy from the Miguel Hernandez University in Elche. Her projects always cover social issues and violation of human rights, using documentary film and photography as tools for social criticism and bringing hidden stories to light.
