BIOGRAPHIE

Director, Executive Producer and Scriptwriter. Degree in Journalism and Mass Communications at Universidad Central de Venezuela -UCV- with studies in Cinema-TV Directing and Scriptwriting at London International Film School, England. Currently in charge of supervising and designing, developing and executive producing TV local content and original productions in US Hispanics and Latin America, since 2005. TV Director, 2004-05, for NBC Universal-Telemundo, in Miami FL. From 1995 to 2001 served as VP of Original Productions for HBO and Cinemax Latin America and Brazil. Professor in the Cinematography Department at the Fine Arts School, UCV, from 1993 to 1998. Has received several awards and recognitions during his career, including International Emmy Awards nomination in 2017 edition; Produ Award Best Producer 2017; Silver World Medal at the 2001 New York Festivals TV & Film/Video Awards; Gold and Bronze World Medal and two Finalist Awards at the 2000 edition of the same festival; Bronze World Medal in 1999; and one Finalist Award at the 1998 edition. He’s been Jury member of the 2003, 2009 and 2014 to 2019 editions of the International Emmy Awards and of the 2014 and 2015 editions of the International Kids Emmy Awards. Member of the Nominating Committee of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences since 2018.
