BIOGRAPHIE

Gleb Teleshov is a photographer, cinematographer, director. He was born in 1966 in Alma-Ata, in 1972 he moved to the city of Vladivostok, where he still lives and works. His first full-length film SUBS (1995) won the Grand Prix of the Youth film festival in Kiev and was screened in the Forum Berlinale program and at several other international film festivals. Directed several short films. Author of more than ten solo exhibitions of photography, participant of international exhibits of modern art. Cinematographer of F.J. Ossang’s Ciel eteint! (2008), Directors’ Fortnight, Cannes; Dharma Guns (La succession Starkov) (2010), Venice Orizzonti. In 2017, he worked as one of the cameramen on the film Karenina & I (2017), directed by Tommaso Mottola, and was the DoP of the short film Lionella (2018), directed by Sergey Borovkov, Clermont-Ferrand.
