BIOGRAPHIE

Liu Bing was born in Lishu County, Jilin Province, China, 1977. He has participated in screenplays for several films, such as The Hammer and Sickle are Sleeping (associate screenwriter, Best Short Film at the Golden Horse Award, 2014), Free and Easy (screenwriter, World Cinema Dramatic Special Jury Award for Cinematic Vision at Sundance Film Festival, 2017; four nominations including Best Feature at the Golden Horse Award, 2017), Damp Season (screenwriter, International Competition Grand Prize at Jeonju International Film Festival, 2020; selection of Bright Future Main Programme at International Film Festival Rotterdam 2020); Manchurian Tiger (screenwriter, work in progress).
