Nicola Fegg

BIOGRAPHIE

English-German director Nicola Fegg worked as a songwriter for TV and film and studied fashion design before studying directing at German DFFB. She combines her diverse artistic experiences in her films, often both writing and directing them. Inspired by filmmakers such as Andrea Arnold and Ken Loach, she sees herself as a “slice of life” filmmaker and feels especially drawn to underdog characters in kitchen-sink settings.
