Sebastián Salfate

BIOGRAPHIE

Sebastián Salfate is a Chilean visual artist and filmmaker. He has worked as an artist in various collaborative projects such as Daniel Morón Gallery and CIA Santiago. In cinema, he has excelled in various positions both as editor in projects such as "Caballerango" by Juan Pablo González (MEX), as well as participating in collaborative projects with visual artist Alejandra Prieto. He has directed a series of short films including Arcadia (2017, USA), Dias del Mar (2018 - premiere at FIC Monterrey) and Litre (in post-production). His work has also been presented at festivals such as El Festival de Lima, San Diego Dance Film Festival and CPH: DOX. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Film Direction from the California Institute of the Arts.
