She participated in Transilvania Pitch Stop Workshop (2020), Programs for Writers of Elizabeth Kostova Foundation (2020), Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Market (2018, 2020), In the Palace Project Market (2015, 2019), Sarajevo Talent Campus (2015). Her first screenplay „Rehearsals“ won the First Prize of the international competition of NISI MASA (2007). Her last short „French Cinema“ was awarded an Honorable mention in South East European Film Festival Los Angeles 2021, was part of the official selection of 23th Shanghai International Film Festival (A category) 6th Balkans Beyond Borders International Film Festival and other festivals. The script of her new short „Snowdrops at The End of The Train“ was the winner in the Bulgarian edition of Euro Connection 2019, was part of Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, was supported by the Bulgarian National Film Center. Galina is the author of the absurdist play „Asteroid 35 111“, based on the life of the Russian poet Marina Tsvetaeva, which was performed at the Municipal Theater "Vazrazhdane", broadcast on the Bulgarian National Radio. She is currently working on her second play „A Sunday in the Future“, which has been selected and presented of New Stages Southeast and was awarded a scholarship by the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.
