Andréas Giannopoulos is a Melbourne-born narrative film director and writer. His short film 'The Arms of Venus de Milo' premiered in official selection at the 19th Revelation Perth International Film Festival. He participated in the Melbourne International Film Festival’s 2016 Critics Campus, and until 2017 he was a committee member for both the Senses of Cinema film journal and the Melbourne Cinémathèque. He has recently completed a Master of Arts Screen: Directing at the Australian Film Television and Radio School, where he wrote and directed the short film 'Friends of Mine'.
