Renata Arzac

BIOGRAPHIE

Mexican director and cinematographer. She was born on 1995 in Mexico City. Attended Universidad Iberoamericana where she received a Bachelor in Communication Science. She has also taken several classes of cinematography, certificated by international schools like EICTV Cuba. Since 2016 she has directed and photographed more than 10 short film, both fiction and documentary. In 2019, Renata was selected as one of the participants for the Looking for China Youth Film Project, where she traveled to Chengdu for a month, to work on a documentary about Taikoo Li and Fangsuo Bookstore. She feels at home within many areas of the visual language, for her, seeing has never been a passive act.
