Antonio Di Biase (Pescara, 1994) graduated in Painting at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and in directing at the ZeLIG - school for documentary. His works have been presented in different art exhibitions and film festivals around Europe. De Sancto Ambrosio, produced by Start, was selected in the International Competition at the Ji.hlava IDFF 2018 and at the Filmmaker Festival where he won the Movie People award. His diploma film Il passo dell'acqua was presented in different film festivals including Festival dei Popoli, Thessaloniki IDFF, Dok.Fest Munich, Beldocs, Trento Film Festival, winning the awards for the best cinematography and best Italian film at the Cervino Cinemountain IFF 2020, the award for the best documentary at the Mente Locale Festival and the selection among the fifteen documentaries finalists at the David di Donatello 2020.
