BIOGRAPHIE

Yukao Nagemi’s video works develops along two experimental lines: a digitally augmented performative approach, and a personal genre of vector videos with an intermediary style between cartoon and digitization. Both lines of work are strongly connected to music, and propose a unique audiovisual experience, emotional and physical. He works with composers, musicians, theater directors, and dancers. His work has been presented in many festivals. He teaches at Paris National Fine Arts School and at IRCAM.
