BIOGRAPHIE

Michael Basta is an American filmmaker based in Los Angeles, California. He’s written, directed, and produced a variety of short narratives, experimental films, and music videos and is a co-founder of Omnes Films. He’s a graduate in film from Massart in Boston, MA and has worn many hats on a large assortment of film productions since then, notably a recent feature he was a producer for called “Ham on Rye” (Tyler Taormina, 2019). Currently he has finished a short film called “Bernard Checks In” and is in the pre-production phase for his own written feature “Raccoon,” which the short film is based on.
