BIOGRAPHIE

Geetanjali Gurlhosur is an independent journalist, social researcher, photographer and filmmaker. She has been awarded the gold medal in MA in Peace and Conflict Studies by Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati. Her film, Jarjar Ghar, was one of the ten film ideas selected for Nagari Short Film Competition in 2020. Previously, she has worked as a multimedia journalist at the Indian Express and Hindustan Times in Mumbai. She now writes on culture, gender, sexuality, development and minority rights.
