David Mastinu was born in Rome on August 7, 1984. Approaching Acting attending different courses with varius teacher including Fioretta Mari e Ennio Coltorti, deepening at “ Theatre Academy in Rome”. He then attended a film Acting class and at the same time studied writing. In 2017 he won the “ Audience award” at the “Premio Teatro Traiano” with the monologue “ Vinni a u’ munnu “. In 2018 he won the “Premio Dario Fo” with the shortplay “ Vinni a u’ munnu”. Winning two other awards: best author and best director. He continues to write other plays: “ Anna e Marco”, “La mossa del giaguaro”, “Amara”. Winner finalist of the collection “ Sorella Africa” with the poetry “ Lo straniero”. Third place in the international literary competition “Premio Lupo” with the work “La fuga”. In 2020 his first film as an author and director with “ L’amore di Georgia”.
