Mehdi Zarei

BIOGRAPHIE

Mehdi Zarei was born and raised in Shiraz, Iran. He was graduated from Shiraz art university in 2006 and pursued his interest in cinema by attending 2 year filmmaking courses under supervision of Abbas Kiarostami and workshops Saeed Aghighi and Hadi Moghadamdoust. His previous films were screened and awarded in different festivals. "In the dark" was made in 2020 based on a story by Samad Taheri.
