BIOGRAPHIE

After having completed college studies in visual arts, Frédéric decides to favor long stays abroad. The result was a self-taught practice with regard to large-format painting, which lasted a decade. In 2017, he began experimenting with the frame-by-frame animation medium by directing the short film Aracati, which will be completed in 2018. Since then, Frédéric has been working on a new animated project inspired by multiple trips to Japan: Festin en Capsule. Après avoir complété des études collégiales en arts visuels, Frédéric décide de faire prévaloir les longs séjours à l'étranger. Il en découlera une pratique autodidacte vis-à-vis la peinture sur grand format, qui durera une décennie. En 2017, il commence à expérimenter avec le médium d'animation image par image en réalisant le court-métrage Aracati, qui sera complété en 2018. Depuis, Frédéric travail sur un nouveau projet animé inspiré de multiples voyages au Japon : Festin en Capsule.
