BIOGRAPHIE

Kaizerin empathizes with how the hectic pace of the world can leave one absentminded, including herself. As such, her adoration for film comes from its ability to draw responses and remind its audience of their own emotions. Captivated by the human experience, she came to realize how powerful film is in capturing just that, even the unseen and unspoken. At LASALLE, Kaizerin had the opportunity to direct several works, both fiction and non-fiction, before finally directing a thesis on her final year. Some of her works include Transferred Impressions, a dance film that has been screened in International Dance Film Festival Brussels, Rollout Film Festival Macau, and Cinedans Amsterdam. Her short fiction film titled Where We Sleep at Night that tells of a young girl's escapade at night was also screened in Singapore’s Poetry Festival. Aside from directing, Kaizerin also enjoys doing Art and has worked as a Production Designer for a couple of projects. To Kaizerin, film is, in its essence, an experience. She believes that being able to tell stories in such a platform is a privilege, and she is always grateful for her opportunities.
