Ana Clara Ribeiro is a screenwriter and director from Teresina, Piauí. She graduated from Radio TV at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Since 2011, she has been working as an editor, producer and director assistant, researcher and screenwriter for documentaries and since 2016 as a guest professor in the graduate program at IED-RJ and tutor of documentary workshops with an emphasis on research, script and direction. She has been working since 2017 with project development, script and is assistant director, researcher and screenwriter of the documentary series "Favela Gay - The LGBTQI periphery" (2020) Canal Brasil, produced by Luz Mágica. She was a researcher and assistant director in the documentaries "Henfil" (2017) by Angela Zoé and "Abrindo o Armário/Opening the Closet" (2017), by Dario Menezes and Luis Abramo. She has been a student since 2020 in Master in Creative writing, at the Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión (EICTV) from San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba, where she writes her first narrative feature film, "Inside". Lives in the Amazon, in Porto Velho, Rondônia.
