BIOGRAPHIE

Francisco Sánchez Solís is a Mexican film producer, writer and director. He studied film production and art history at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. In 2015, he directed his thesis film LITTLE SYRIA, which screened in festivals in Mexico and the United States. Through his production company Enfant & Poulet, Francisco produced the award- winning documentary feature SANCTUARY (Dir. Andrea Córdoba, 2019) and is currently co-producing the narrative features HUESERA (Dir. Michelle Garza Cervera) and TODOS LOS INCENDIOS (Dir. Mauricio Calderón Rico). As writer, he participated in the prestigious Cine Qua Non Lab. In 2020, Francisco was selected by the Mexican Institute of Cinematography to direct his project SOLDADO through the 20th National Short Film Contest. He is currently developing his first feature film as a director.
