[EN] Growing up in Hainan, the southern island of China, Tianhui Wu’s work was influenced by the place where she was from, the village where she grew up. She works across film and moving image, she is interested in exploring themes of conflicts in the body, personal memory in the shadow of collective trauma, and the myths that exist in the village connecting the past and the present.
