Junko Hanano

BIOGRAPHIE

Junko Hanano is a Japanese female film director,  Born in 1964. After graduating from a kyushu otani junior college in 1984, her started working as a theater director and screenwriter. In 1996, her studied under film director Sogo Ishii(Gakuryu Ishii) and was in charge of the film director and screenplay for the movie "Lonely Planet". The movie "Lonely Planet" is starring the internationally active Japanese actress "Nae Yuuki",also It was screened in various movie theatre of Japan and received high praise. In 2003, her was in charge of the script for the movie "DEAD END RUN" (starring Yusuke Iseya, Masatoshi Nagase, and Tadanobu Asano.)directed by Sogo Ishii(Gakuryu Ishii). Then,after writing the script for the film in 2005 and 2014, Junko Hanano stopped making the film and concentration to the creation of theater and art. However, in 2021 she returned to the film director with the movie "Soul of Love". From now on,her plans to continue making new movies.
