Oona Von Maydell

BIOGRAPHIE

Oona von Maydell was born in Starnberg / Possenhofen. She has a bachelors in painting from the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and a master in Curatorial Studies from the Goethe Universität Frankfurt. In 2016 she realized here first short film LA RUCHE as Director, writer and producer. The premiere took place at the Shortfilm Competition Max Ophüls Filmfest, 2018. Since 2016 she has been studying Scriptwriting at the Filmakademie of Baden-Württemberg.  In 2017 she wrote and directed JIM together with Ludwig Meck (Producer). The premiere took place the Max Ophüls Shortlist, Max Ophüls Filmfest, 2018.  In 2018 she developed the screenplay of PLUME at the fémis in Paris in collaboration with the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg- Since 2006 she also works as an actress in various projects.
