BIOGRAPHIE

León Velásquez (Madrid, 1992) Estudió Dirección de Fotografía en la ECAM (Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de la Comunidad de Madrid). Durante los estudios rueda cómo Director de Fotografía varios cortos de gran repercusión en festivales internacionales: "Fuero" de Juanma Juárez, "Encuentros en la Tercera Edad" de Víctor Ruiz Junquera, "La Tierra muerta" de Sergio Duce, "Yo confieso" de Saúl Gallego, "Jaula" de David Oeo, entre otros tantos proyectos. A día de hoy, recaen sobre su filmografía decenas de cortometrajes, videoclips y spots publicitarios que le han enriquecido y hecho crecer no solo como Director de Fotografía si no como Cineasta. Ahora, León se encuentra preparando como director a la par, cortometrajes y películas con las que seguir haciendo cine desde otro punto de vista. Es con el cortometraje "Consecuencias" con el que salta a la Dirección en ficción para contar un fragmento de su vida, una historia de algo que cambió el rumbo de su destino y lo muestra dirigiendo con total sinceridad, amor al cine, a la música y amor al barrio. During his studies as Director of Photography he shot several shorts of great repercussion in international festivals: "Fuero" by Juanma Juárez, "Encuentros en la Tercera Age" by Víctor Ruiz Junquera, "La Tierra Muerta" by Sergio Duce, "Yo confieso" by Saúl Gallego, "Jaula" by David Oeo, among many other projects. To this day, dozens of short films, video clips and advertising spots fall on his filmography that have enriched him and made him grow not only as a Director of Photography but also as a Filmmaker. Now, León is preparing as a director at the same time, short films and films with which to continue making cinema from another point of view. It is with the short film "Consequences" with which he jumps to the Direction in fiction to tell a fragment of his life, a story of something that changed the course of his destiny and shows him directing with total sincerity, love of cinema, of music and love of the neighborhood.
