Meitar Flam grew up in a religious hippy home, and was homeschooled till the age of twelve.. During high school she majored in Art at the Israel Museum. After completing two years’ National Service working with youth at risk, she volunteered in Ghana for three months, teaching science, art and theater at an African school. Meitar graduated from her four-year, full time studies at Maaleh Film School in 2022, having majored in scriptwriting and directing. Her third year graduating documentary, “As If I Am” was a semi-finalist in the Student Academy Awards of 2021. Her narrative short “Like Falling Asleep” is her graduating narrative כן short. She is currently co-writing a TV- series "Apartment Tsabar" which won a development grant from "Yes" satellite TV.
