Arthur Delay grew up in a family where both French, English, and Danish were spoken. He has always been interested in the many rhythms and nuances in both the written and the spoken language. Delay holds a master’s degree in Film and Media Sciences from the University of Copenhagen where he has studied artists and politicians’ self-promotion through the media. As a director he is interested in lonely and awkward characters who fight to create connections with others in magic, strange, and grotesque worlds. Delay has directed the short film good to see you (2013) and has written and developed several feature film screenplays. Delay will study screenwriting at The National Film School of Denmark starting 2021.
