Santiago Mohar Volkow

BIOGRAPHIE

Santiago Mohar Volkow (Mexico City, 1989) is a writer, producer and director. He has directed two films, "Los Muertos" (2014) and the documentary "Sisifos" (2019), written for television in the upcoming HBO adaptation of The Savage Detectives, among other cinema projects in both Mexico and the USA. He participated in the Morelia Sundance Lab with the upcoming film "¡Asalto Nacional!" and is currently in pre-production for his third fiction feature "War". He is the co-director of the groundbreaking transmedia documentary "deriva.mx" (2016) and producer of the comedy television series "El Candidato Rayo" (2018). He lives and works in Coyoacán, Mexico.
