BIOGRAPHIE

George Panagopoulos was born in Athens in 1991. He studied Architecture at the National Technical University of Athens. Since 2018 he has been working as a cinematographer and audio-visual content creator, collaborating with theatrical organizations and festivals in Greece, filming material with promotional, distribution or archival purposes. Over the years, he has worked for institutions such as the Athens and Epidaurus Festival, Stegi of the Onassis Foundation and Neos Kosmos Theatre. In 2020 he worked as a cinematographer for a Greek National Opera production, the short film “Transfigured Night”, directed by Themelis Glynatsis. He has also worked for individual artists, filming short documentaries, music videos and other promotional content. In the spring of 2021, he wrote, directed and photographed his first short film “Vidisova”, which had its Greek National Premiere at the 27th Athens International Film Festival.
