BIOGRAPHIE

Anna Muylaert is a film and TV director and screenwriter. For the last 3 decades, she collaborated in the scripts of several features , among them, THE YEAR MY PARENTS WENT ON HOLIDAYS, by Cao Hamburger and PRAIA DO FUTURO, by Karin Ainouz. She directed several short films, among them the award winning THE ORIGIN OF BABIES ACCORDING TO KIKI CAVALCANTI and directed six feature films, including DURVAL RECORDS and THE SECOND MOTHER - winner of the Panorama Audience Award at Berlinale 2015 - released in more than 30 countries. She is currently working on the preparation of her new feature THE BUSINESS WOMEN’S CLUB. She is a member of the HOLLYWOOD ARTS AND SCIENCES ACADEMY.
