BIOGRAPHIE

Born July 28, 1979, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, Davi de Oliveira Pinheiro stretches his talents to the directing, writing and producing of short and feature films. He is the producer of the feature series Boundaries of Thought, starring Peter Greenaway, Michel Houellebecq, Pierre Levy, Camille Paglia, among other personalities. The four episodes are Transversais (2008), followed by Arroba (2008), A Dança do Pensamento (2008), and Arte, Ordem & Caos (2008). Davi also produced the five episodes of the on-line series Boundaries of Thought: Think Thank with José Padilha [Dois Andares (2008)], Wim Wenders [De Volta ao Quarto 666 (2008)] and Philip Glass, among others. In 2011, he finished his first feature film as a director Beyond the Grave (2011), aka Porto dos Mortos, produced by his company, Lockheart Filmes Ltda. The movie combines the spaghetti western, crime, and horror genres.
