BIOGRAPHIE

Ido Shapira is an animation director and producer, graduate of the animation department of Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in 2018. His thesis film, Hounds, co-directed with Amit Cohen, was screened at numerous festivals including Stuttgart, Animator and Balkanima. It won nine international awards and was reviewed by New York Times and Hollywood Reporter. The film was part of the Animation Show Of Shows, was screened in Tel Aviv Museum, and appeared on a book cover. Ido and Amit's new film, Your Bad Animals has won three of Israel’s major animation funds, won the Annecy workshop in Jerusalem, and was part of Annecy’s Spotlight on Jerusalem at MIFA.
