BIOGRAPHIE

Pau Enric Serra es biólogo y músico. Graduado en Biología por la Universidad de las islas Baleares y máster en Biodiversidad por la UB. Su labor de investigación se ha desarrollado sobre todo en islas o penínsulas pequeñas (Baleares, Canarias, Cabo Verde o Argentina). En 2021 desarrolló un programa basado en inteligencia artificial para detectar cómo interaccionan las especies de ecosistemas insulares entre ellas junto con el laboratorio de Ecología Terrestre del Instituto Mediterráneo de Estudios Avanzados (IMEDEA-CSIC-UIB, Mallorca) y la Uno de la Laguna (Tenerife). Esta propuesta fue premiada por el Cabildo Insular de Tenerife y el Instituto Tecnológico de Canarias (ITC). Como músico ha formado parte de las bandas Ice Crime, The Wheels y The Prussians como bajista y compositor, con quien ha realizado giras nacionales e internacionales actuando en el Summer Fest (Milwaukee, 2019), Sofar Sound (Brooklin y Nueva York, 2019 ), Live at Heart Festival (Orebro, 2018). En 2021 publicó el primer disco corto en catalán con la pianista Laura Serra y el compositor Juan Pérez-Villegas bajo el nombre Alanaire, con quien ha producido el disco junto a Joan Miquel Oliver. Destacan algunas apariciones televisivas como Los Contiertos de Radio 3 (TVE2, 2018 y 2021); Un país para escucharlo (TVE2, 2020); Entusiastas (IB3, 2018 y 2019); Feeel (de Betevé, 2021).
