Roque Cameselle

BIOGRAPHIE

Roque Cameselle is a Spanish writer and filmmaker. He has worked as a professor and in EGACI (Spain) and as project tutor at BFI Film Academy. He has shot several short films and his first feature film, entitled "El pequeño mago" ("The Little Wizard"), was a 2D animation movie aimed at children and was premiered at the San Sebastian International Film Festival in 2013 . The movie was shown at some of the most prestigious film festivals in Latin-American. The original sound track to The Little Wizard won the Jerry Goldsmith Award at the FIMCC in 2013. In Wales, Roque Cameselle co-directed with Andrew Turner the two indie feature film "British Winters" and "Approaching Shadows". Roque Cameselle (Vigo, 1981) es escritor, guionista y director de cine. Licenciado en Comunicación Audiovisual, fue profesor en la EGACI (España) y en la BFI Film Academy (Reino Unido). Después de varios cortometrajes en 2013 estrenó su primer largometraje de animación, titulado "El pequeño mago". Basada en su libro "Bieito Dubidoso", esta película, fue presentada en el Festival de Cine de San Sebastián y Festival Europeo de Sevilla y acudió a los más importantes festivales iberoamericanos. Su banda sonora ganó el Jerry Goldsmith Award 2013. En Gales, ha co-dirigido junto a Andrew Turner los films independiente "British Winters" y "Approaching Shadows"
