Julieta Lasarte

BIOGRAPHIE

Julieta Lasarte (Barcelona, 1984) graduated in Art History and Audiovisual Communication. After twelve years as an assistant director in film and advertising, she studied a Master in Documentary at EICTV (Cuba) to develop her first feature documentary. It was selected as a project in development at DocsBcn. Since then, her interest in family memory, memories and archival material has led her to experiment between analog and digital. Her projects navigate between the past, the present and the future, mixing archival material with technological innovation.
