Zé Dassilva has been working as a screenwriter at Rede Globo (the main television network in Brazil) since 2000. He is one of screenwriters for Imperio (winner Emmy International 2015 as best telenovela, created by Aguinaldo Silva), broadcasted in Brazilian prime time (watched daily by 30 million viewers and released in 30 countries). Along 20 years, he’d written some epoch-making TV series in Brazilian TV (as Sai de Baixo, Casseta & Planeta, Linha Direta and Malhação). He’d produced, written, and directed two non-fiction movies about soccer. Working as a cartoonist as well, he is passionated about histories that involve people who draw – as this one he has created for the movie “Dás um banho, Zé Perri”.
