BIOGRAPHIE

Margret Seema Takyar is an Icelandic-Indian; Reykjavík/New York Based Director/ Director of Photography and screenwriter. She has both a BA and an MFA in Fine Arts from London and New York but credits most of her work to a constant curiosity to understand people, animals, situations and circumstances. "The idea of capturing a single moment that will never come again is fascinating to me. I am also obsessed with the idea of creating moving images/ stories from endless re- writes that meddles with 'status quo' and can be replayed over and over without consequences."
