Oliver Clasper

BIOGRAPHIE

Oliver Clasper (b. 1983, UK) is a writer and visual artist whose work has been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, and Southern Cultures. Clasper graduated in 2005 from SOAS, London and went on to work as a researcher at Human Rights Watch, a news editor at The Associated Press, and deputy editor of Time Out Hong Kong. He was a production assistant and sound recordist on the award-winning film The Act of Killing (2013) and in 2018 he produced the photographic project The Spaces We Inherit, an exploration of the legacy of racial violence and lynchings on the American landscape.
