Malu Portela

BIOGRAPHIE

Malu studied screenwriting and directing at New York Film Academy (EUA) and at Escola de Cinema Darcy Ribeiro. In 2017, she assists the filmmaker Ruy Guerra during the pre-production of his lastest feature “In Pieces”. In the next year the Brazilian filmmaker moves to France to study filmmaking, and today she works in film distribution at Studiocanal. “Don’t Look Back” is her first professional short film.
