Jae Chu

BIOGRAPHIE

Jae Chu is a film and art director, an animator and an editor. He studied a masters in visual communication design at National Taiwan University of the Arts. His works span a range of genres and styles, and he excels at animation that incorporates mixed media and videography. His works are very fluid and rapid-paced but give the audience time to breathe. His animated short, ‘Story of Rice’ won Germany’s Red Dot Design Award in 2014. ‘Classic Daddy’ is his first narrative animated short.
