BIOGRAPHIE

Kyrylo was born in Tokmak, Ukraine. In 2017 he entered Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in the department of cinema and television arts in the specialty of sound engineering. Now Kyrylo is studying for his 5th year at Kyiv National Ivan Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University, film directing. In 2019, based on his own script, he made his first student film "MUTE", which premiered at the CUC Film Festival, where the film received a special award. After that, the film was shown at the LISFF "Wiz-Art", Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin, Bardak etc. In 2020 Kyrylo’s next short film script "luv/miłość" won the main and additional prizes of the scriptwriting workshop "Keep it short" at the “Wiz-Art” film festival. In 2021 the project "luv/miłość" became a winner of the 15th Ukrainian State Film Agency competition, in the short-film debut section. Shooting and financing was postponed due to the war in Ukraine. His latest film "re-record" was shot in evacuation and is waiting for its premiere.
