BIOGRAPHIE

Aurelia Khazan is a French actress/director, Peace Ambassador to the Universal Circle of Ambassadors for Peace France-Switzeland. Receiver of UNESCO Award of « Young Talent for Peace and Best Interpretation » she was awarded in theater with « Excellence Price for Best Actress » by Leopold Bellan International Acting Contest in Paris) –as well as from the Indian institution ‘Actor Prepares -Anupam Kher Acting School’ in Mumbai –India). Alongside her studies in music, she took the course of Alexandre Grecq, a member of the French institution ‘La Comedie Française’, from whom she learnt the classics of dramatic repertoire. As she was particularly interested in India’s culture and civilization, she left Paris for Mumbai and became part of the cast of several feature films, short films and music videos in India. Back in France, Aurelia was selected to be part of the Young Actresses -Young Talents showcased at the Portrait Gallery of the Cannes Film Festival. Having particular abilities to act in foreign languages, she was offered lead roles in some international film projects and especially the American film ‘Love me Haïti” shot with the patronage of legendary Hollywood actress/producer Diane Baker. For her performance in this film Aurelia received UNESCO Award of Young Talent for Peace and Best Interpretation. She also shot as a lead for French feature film ‘La Rupture’ directed by Philippe Barassat. Thanks to her experiences as an actress and passionate about film making, Aurelia Khazan got trained in film direction and directed her first film «Dernier rendez-vous/The Last meeting» selected and awarded at several international festivals included « Best first time Director » at the Silk Road Film Awards. She then directed the music video «Doux agnelet» and wrote and directed the film «Note de coeur», a dreamlike short film on an original alexandrian poem. As a singer Aurelia performed on stage in Europe, USA and India. She appeared on stage for various prestigious events such as the Fashion and Human Rights event Mélanges featuring JP Gaultier in San Francisco, the Action Innocence Gala in Geneva, the French European Indian Fashion Week in Paris held at the Eiffel Tower. Aurelia, the Festival ‘Les Sommets du Classique au Jazz’ in Crans-Montana (Switzerland) and the Lakmé Fashion Week in Mumbai (India). She also performed at the Paris Fashion Week and at the Cannes Film Festival. She keeps on developing her career with passion and with the desire to devote her skills to noble causes. She is Sponsor of the french association « Pépites d’É-toiles » involved in women empowerment and supported the organisation, Pink October, which financially assists women who are going through treatment of all female forms of cancer. She was also involved with the association, Action innocence Geneva, which fights against pedo-criminality on the internet and the French ‘Alzheimer Foundation’.
