BIOGRAPHIE

Pascale Neuschäfer is a filmmaker and a performing artist. Since 2005 she has been working predominantly on documentaries that focused on previously disadvantaged and marginalized peoples’ stories of struggle and survival in South Africa. Many of these documentaries have been screened at various festivals around the world. She has also worked on creating educational video content and in 2008 she published an article on the use of oral history methodology for documentary filmmaking in the South African History Journal.
