BIOGRAPHIE

Graduated as Bachelor of Interior Design from Jakarta Institute of Arts. Since the beginning of his career in 2002, his dedication and commitment to independent audio-visual movement have never stopped. In 2004, Anggun was awarded Best Director by MTV Indonesia for the music video Train Song by Lain. To this day, Anggun has always been active in directing and producing video arts and music videos. His video art works were brought to tour various international festivals, such as in Japan, China, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, England (in Tate Museum, London), Singapore and the Venice Biennale. In 2011, Anggun received the Bandung Contemporary Art Award for his work Sinema Elektronik (Sinetron), or Soap Opera. The work was acquired by a local collector. In 2011, Anggun and his friend, Harlan, produced Cobra Magazine, an independent magazine dedicated to film, music and visual art. Anggun completed his first feature film, Rocket Rain, in 2014.
